The Opinel pocket knife is passed down from generation to generation. It is now available with a rounded end for beginner users. Its blade can trim sticks, cut string and cardboard, make shelters and sculpt small wooden objects. The dual safety lock allows the blade to be fixed in a closed or open position.

I can always find my bright red knife! Small adventurers, handymen and gourmands will love this knife. It has an 8cm blade and a hornbeam wood handle that has been varnished to protect it against moisture and marks.

  • Sandvik stainless steel 12C27M – The blade is made from Sandvik 12C27 modified stainless steel. It is anti-corrosive thanks to the addition of chrome and requires no special maintenance. Its carbon content of at least 0.40% gives it an excellent cutting edge. Blade hardness: 57-58 HRC.
  • Round-tipped blade – A round ended tip for added safety, also perfect for picnic, to spread butter and make sandwiches.
  • Wooden handle – Coming from French forests, this white wood with few veins is ideal for applying color. The handle is varnished to be protected against moisture and dirt.
  • Safety ring – Invented by Marcel Opinel in 1955, the Virobloc safety ring is fitted to all folding knives from the N°06. Cut out of stainless steel, the Virobloc has two sections, one fixed and one sliding. In addition to locking the blade open for safety in use, it is now possible to lock the blade closed for safety in transport.
  • Blade length: 8cm
